Final Post!

I have learned many great social media platforms in this class. Overall, it has showed me the effectiveness of using social media for marketing. The networks I enjoyed using the most while promoting my business would have to be Facebook, Twitter, Vine, and of course blogger. I enjoyed these ones the most, because they are very convenient and they are very popular networks, so many people use them.  Altogether I think they are the ones I had the most fun with, even though I really enjoyed them all.

I would definitely recommend all of these platforms to be used while trying to promote any business. I really feel this class has added value for me in my future career. I believe having knowledge of how to connect with people through social media can be very useful, because we are in a generation full of electronics and social media networks. I can definitely tell a difference from where I am now in this class, and where I was when I started. I feel a lot more confident in using these networks.

New App!!

Chelsea's Hookah Bar has created a great new app for our lounge. We want to stay close to our customers, this app will help us do this by allowing them to use the many great features it offers. What you will find on our app will include, a list of our products and their  prices, with an option to view the history of the product. All these products can be purchased through the app with shipping, or in store pickup. It will also allow customers to read reviews, and they will have the ability to leave their own reviews on products, services, or experiences.

The other features this app gives to our customers, is the ability to reserve a booth, or a hookah at our lounge...... any day of the week! It will let you pick an estimated time of arrival, and pick out your choices of our variety of products such as, hookah type, design, tobacco flavor, and any other add-ons you wish. It will give you the ability to pay through the app, or when you arrive for you reservation. When you arrive the staff at Chelsea's Hookah Bar will have everything ready to go by your arrival time. All you have to do when you get here, is come in and start your relaxation process. What is No Shave November?.... No Shave November started with a group of men in Australia, in the early 2000's. These men grew out there facial hair, to help raise awareness for men battling prostate cancer, and depression. No Shave November is also known as Movember. Why do most people participate in this month long event? They do it to help raise awareness, by growing their hair for the men who cant, and who unfortunately loose theirs while battling cancer. Chelsea's Hookah Bar has came up with an event, to help raise money for these prostate cancer patients. 

Chelsea's Hookah Bar will be holding a contest for the person that can grow their beard the longest, for the remainder of the month. We will be holding sign up sheets from November 8, to November 10, during business hours. Anyone who wants to participate will have to come in on one of these days to sign up, and take a before picture. On November 30, we will be holding a live revealing that will start at 7:00 PM, and end at regular closing time. The people who signed up for the event will be asked to come in, and reveal their hair growth.... live! We will have a first place winner, and depending on the amount of people who sign up we will possibly have a second place winner. They will receive some great prizes, such as coupons to our hookah lounge, as well as cash prizes!

Anyone can come to the live revealing, and for the rest of the month we will be accepting donations for prostate cancer patients. Anyone who donates to the cause will receive some type of coupons, to Chelsea's Hookah Bar. The coupons will range from free drinks, to free hookah rentals! When a customer donates they will also have the ability to put their name in for a drawing, for chances to win a free years worth of ANY hookah rentals! The winner of this drawing will be announced on the same night as the live revealing, which is November 30, around 9:00 PM. We are excited to be throwing this event, and hope to raise a good amount of money for No Shave November. We hope to see you there!
